Dr Julian Wang

NDS proudly welcomes Dr Julian Wang - clinician and educator - to our teaching faculty.  He is our resident instructor and course host for Taiwan.

Neurodynamic Solutions is very pleased to announce that we have an instructor for the Asia region, Julian, who is based in Taiwan. Julian received his Doctorate of Medicine from Kaohsiung Medical University in Taiwan in 1990. He then worked in a public hospital as a surgeon for two years. In 1995, he completed a residency training of physical medicine and rehabilitation in Kaohsiung Medicine University Hospital and became a board-certified physiatrist in Taiwan. He also completed a Doctorate program of Chiropractic at the Los Angeles College of Chiropractic, Southern California University of Health Sciences in the U.S.A. in 2000. Since then, he has treated his patients with manual approaches for more than 20 years.
 
In 2003, he established the Taiwan Association of Manual Medicine (TAMM) and was elected as its first President. He taught Rehabilitation Medicine as an Assistant Professor at the National Taipei University of Nursing and Health Sciences in Taiwan from 2005 to 2006. He also has been appointed as a member of the Academic Board of the Taiwan Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation since 2017.
 
Julian has special expertise in musculoskeletal rehabilitation and manual medicine. He has completed many post-doctorate courses in osteopathy, chiropractic and physiotherapy. Since 2019, he has been appointed as the chair of the Taiwan chapter of Schroth Best Practice (SBP) and GBW braces for patients with scoliosis. He is also skilled at prolotherapy and neuro-musculo-skeletal ultrasound diagnosis and injection.
 
In 2015, Julian founded the Somategrity Academy in Taiwan. It is an organization devoted to promoting the Somategrity Healing System and also a platform for top-tier systems of healing arts worldwide. He has been working with Julie Hammond of the Anatomy Trains, Kim Robinson of the Manual Concepts, Alfio Albasini of the McConnell approach, and the McKenzie Institute International.
 
In 2019, Julian became an NDS practitioner and started working with Michael Shacklock to develop NDS in Taiwan. The NDS seminars in Taiwan taught by Julian and Michael are currently hosted by the Somategrity Academy. Please visit www.somategrity.com for further detailed information.
